Super Crinkle Wedges and Mediterranean Wedges from Lamb Weston

Potato wedges have long been a popular consumer choice, with 26,195 tonnes of wedges sold every year through UK food service outlets. Having introduced the wedge-style cut back in 1976, Lamb Weston now plans to revitalise and add value back into the wedges category with two launches, Super Crinkle Wedges and Mediterranean Wedges.

Super Crinkle Wedges are slightly larger than traditional wedges and have pronounced grooves for maximum crunchiness and extended holding time. They come in two flavours - Smoky Barbecue and Piri-Piri.

Mediterranean Wedges are traditional-style potato wedges, subtly flavoured with rosemary and a hint of garlic.

Sold in 4 x 2.5kg packs, they can be cooked in a fryer or oven in a few minutes. Serving suggestions include as an alternative to chips, as an accompaniment, an appetiser, bar snack or as part of a sharing platter.
