Valentine & CuisinEquip invests in new northern test kitchen
Catering equipment supplier Valentine & CuisinEquip has invested in its UK showroom and development facilities by opening a new northern test kitchen in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester.
Valentine & CuisinEquip said it hopes the new opening will enhance the service provided to customers across the country.
Working with service and install provider FSW and its managing director Frank Winterbottom and the team, the new site features an operational development kitchen which offers customers, dealers, and distributors the opportunity to see the latest range of equipment first-hand.
The new site also features a conference and meeting room which will enable Valentine & CuisinEquip's team to deliver equipment consultations, product demonstrations and training on products and equipment.
The investment is not just limited to the north of England; Valentine & CuisinEquip has also invested in its Reading-based head office by adding a new conference room and expanding its development kitchen by almost 50%.
Steve Elliott, sales director at Valentine & CuisinEquip, said the total investment into the two sites amounts to around £65,000.
He added: "With a truly nationwide network of customers, dealers, and distributors, we felt it was important to offer those in the north a more convenient and accessible location to view the latest equipment in the Valentine & CuisinEquip portfolio. Working closely with Frank and the team at FSW Catering Equipment and Gas Services, we've been able to do just that.
"At the same time, we felt it important to invest in our head office in Reading – bringing the facilities in line with our company's values of quality and excellence. Our new development kitchen and conference facilities do just that. Enabling our team to demonstrate the capabilities of our range, while also giving our customers the opportunity to try the equipment, using their own foods, in modern and comfortable surroundings."
