There's a new collection of Rubicon Street Drinks on the block, comprising four flavours inspired by recipes from around the world. Sharbat is a traditional Turkish combination of pomegranate and rose; Agua Fresca comprises watermelon, lime and mint; Indian-inspired Nimbu Pani includes lemon, cumin and mint; and African influences are found in Bissap, with hibiscus and ginger.

Diageo has launched a dairy-free Baileys Almande to the on-trade, allowing licensees to capitalise on the growing demand for dairy-free products, a sector currently valued at £400m. The new vegan variant blends the nutty flavours of sweet almond oil and almond essence with vanilla.

Brakes has launched its Winter Collection 2018/19. Main courses include vegetarian pumpkin and sage tortelloni, and vegan options such as lentil and chickpea dhal, and butternut and lentil wellington. The desserts range features a vegan blackcurrant bavarois and a gluten-free and vegan raspberry and frangipane tart.
