The Three Cranes pub opens in London

The Three Cranes tavern and dining room has opened on Garlick Hill in Mansion House, London following a £2.3m acquisition.

The site, previously known as the Hatchet, was acquired in October 2015 by Davis Coffer Lyons on behalf of real estate venture capital firm Ducalian Capital.

It is now managed by Ducalian Capital and Bloomsbury Leisure Group.

The refurbished public house combines a gastropub, dining room and private dining space.

Robert Cherry, director of business development at Ducalian Capital, said: "We're very proud of the work that has been done to redevelop the Three Cranes as we expand our portfolio in the central London leisure and hospitality market. Bloomsbury Leisure Group are excellent operational partners, with the experience and ambition to help capitalise on this exciting development in a sought-after Central London location. The initial response from customers has been overwhelmingly positive and we are confident that the Three Cranes will become a popular local venue."

Jon Dalton, director of Bloomsbury Leisure Group, said: "We are delighted to add the Three Cranes to our portfolio of venues. The location is perfect for the many office workers nearby who want lunch, dinner or just a few drinks. The food offering will be classic pub food with options for the health-focused city worker. We are very excited to be partnering with Ducalian Capital and are looking forward to developing more sites together."
