Hospitality employees look for new opportunities

Most hospitality workers believe they are in the wrong career and 16% admit to have lasted only one day in a job.

These are the findings of a survey from totaljobs.com, an on-line recruitment service.

The survey also found jobs in the hospitality sector to be short-lived, with 93% of respondents claiming to have spent less than a year in a post.

Cleaners and kitchen porters were felt to have the worst jobs.

The service totaljobs.com is owned by Reed Business Information which publishes more than 60 titles, including Caterer& Hotelkeeper.
