Millar recalled to Turnberry

The Turnberry Hotel in Ayrshire has appointed Kenneth Millar, deputy general manager from 1984 to 1989, as its new general manager.

Millar takes over from Chris Rouse, who retired in April after 20 years in the job. The five-star, 132-bedroom property was acquired by US-based Starwood Hotels & Resorts in December.

Millar returns to Turnberry from the 862-bedroom New World Harbour View hotel in Hong Kong.
