Flavin

Padhraic Flavin has been promoted to general manager of the 364-bedroom Jurys Inn Heathrow hotel. His previous position was general manager of the 240-bedroom Jurys Inn Croydon, South London.

Patricia Leeds is the new executive housekeeper at the four-star, 127-bedroom Macdonald Last Drop Village Hotel in Bolton, Lancashire. She moves from the Victoria Park Plaza hotel in London, where she held the same position.

Michael Metaxas is the new general manager of the 58-bedroom Thalassa boutique hotel in Cyprus. His previous role was overseeing the pre-opening operations for the InterContinental Aphrodite Hills hotel, also in Cyprus.

Scott Toon has been appointed general manager of the Fortress resort in Galle, Sri Lanka. He moves from his position as general manager of the Dhoni Mighili holiday resort in the Maldives.

Restaurants

Neil Robinson is the new restaurant manager at the four-star, 127-bedroom Macdonald Last Drop Village Hotel in Bolton, Lancashire. He moves from the Watersearch restaurant in Manchester, where he worked as restaurant manager.

Rupert Gleadow has been appointed head chef at Jeremy's restaurant near Haywards Heath, West Sussex. He joins the 55-seat restaurant from Langshott Manor in Surrey, where he was senior sous chef.

Knerr

The 287-bedroom InterContinental Dubai has appointed Christian Knerr as executive sous chef. He moves from a five-star hotel in Stuttgart, Germany, where he worked in the same role.
