Slatters Hotel sold by QMH

Queens Moat Houses has sold its three-star Slatters Hotel in Canterbury, Kent. It is understood to have fetched just under agent Christie & Co's £700,000 asking price.

The 31-bedroom property was bought by partners Russell Allen and Ross Mansoori, who plan to develop the city centre site by adding 1,000sq ft of retail space and adding another 19 bedrooms.

Mr Allen is also proprietor of the Tollgate Hotel in Gravesend, Kent.
