William Curley reveals location of new shop

Chocolatier William Curley and his wife Suzue are to open a new shop near Pimlico Green in Central London, Caterersearch can reveal.

It will be the couple's second outlet, joining their current premises in Richmond, Surrey, which opened in 2004.

The 1,000 square foot premises will incorporate a 20-seat dessert bar and an area in which the couple can hold demonstrations and host courses for the general public.

Curley was named Best British Chocolatier for the third year running in the Academy of Chocolate's annual awards in January, where his chocolates picked up six gold and five silver gongs in competition.

The Curleys opened a central production unit in Twickenham last month and their business currently employs six chocolatier/patissiers.

Their new Pimlico shop is expected to open in the summer of 2009.
