Yorkshire brewery Timothy Taylor makes three new appointments

Yorkshire brewery Timothy Taylor has made three new appointments to support the reopening of the Town Hall Tavern, Leeds, next Friday (20 May).

Anton Scoones (above left) joins the refurbished pub as head chef. He began his career at Simply Heathcotes before working at Michelin-starred Longridge restaurant and De Vere Oulton Hall hotel. His most recent role was at the General Tarleton restaurant with rooms, which has Michelin Bib Gourmand status.

Cumbrian-born Mat Atkinson (above centre) has spent the last two years in Brisbane, Australia where he was nominated for a Bartender of the Year award. He has also held senior roles at Leeds' Oporto and the Angel's Share.

Renee Hughes (above right) has been with Timothy Taylor for over a year and she has held a number of positions in and around Yorkshire, including the Scarborough Taps and Harkers Bar in York.
