Marston's-owned Banks's Brewery to bring back Sunbeam for summer 2012
Marston's is to bring back Sunbeam as a guest ale in a summer filled with cultural and sporting events.
The 4.2% ABV ale was first introduced last year, brewed by Banks's Brewery in Wolverhampton to mark the 10th anniversary celebrations of Wolverhampton's city status. The blonde beer will be available nationally from April until September.
Banks's director of brewing Richard Westwood said: "We are delighted that Sunbeam will be one of our guest ales for 2012. The demand for Sunbeam was so high in 2011, which is a testament to the quality of the brew."
Sunbeam is made from a combination of the English hop Pilgrim, US-grown Citra and the Nelson Sauvin from New Zealand - the latter two both rare in the UK.
