Two new school contracts for Cucina
Education catering firm Cucina has announced two new contracts, one at the Bulmershe School in Reading, and another at Denbigh School in Milton Keynes.
Secondary to age 16 school Bulmershe has 891 students, while age 11-18 school Denbigh has 1,400 students on its roll.
Cucina also announced that it had retained its contracts at the Hazeley Academy in Milton Keynes, Queens' School in Bushey, Hertfordshire, and at Teddington School in Middlesex, with a combined estimated turnover of around £7m.
The combined estimated turnover of the new and retained contracts is around £10m.
Chief executive of Cucina Restaurants Steve Quinn, said: "I'm delighted that we have won these two new contracts and retained three existing contracts. Every single thing we do as a company is centred around the food we provide for our customers, which is why we keep such a close eye on the rate at which we grow."
He added that the company was close to its "ceiling of 50 operating contracts", and was concentrating on maximising the potential of its current business.
