Expressions of interest invited: Bar & Catering at new Baseball / Softball Facility at Farnham Park

Expressions of interest invited: Bar & Catering at new Baseball / Softball Facility at Farnham Park Sports Ground north of Slough.

BaseballSoftballUK is seeking to engage a suitably experienced catering contractor to operate a quality café facility and to deliver match-day event catering within the UK's largest purpose-built baseball and softball facility, located in extensive parkland on the northern outskirts of Slough.

The facility consists of multiple baseball and softball fields and a pavilionstyle building that is currently being refurbished to house the new café facility. The café will benefit from an accompanying garden area overlooking the sports fields and the operator will be able to have an input on the interior design and re-fit of the kitchen, bar and seating area, which is scheduled to be completed by April 2017.

The café will have the potential to open throughout the year for outside functions and public visitors, as well as providing a service for visiting
teams and their supporters throughout the baseball and softball season (April to October). There will be additional opportunities to operate
multiple mobile units within the grounds on major event days that draw high volumes of players and spectators.
