Camilla Al Fayed launches Farmacy healthy eating restaurant in west London

Heiress and fashion entrepreneur Camilla Al Fayed will open Farmacy, a new healthy eating restaurant and cocktail bar, on the site of a former Ping Pong restaurant at the end of April.
The Westbourne Grove site in west London was put on the market by Restaurant Property after abortive negotiations with the former dim sum chain leaseholder.
Al Fayed, the daughter of former Harrods and Fulham FC owner Mohamed Al Fayed, also owns London fashion label Issa. She is hoping to put the Farmacy brand on the map as "a destination that shares my philosophy that putting nutrition first does not compromise good food and good times".
Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, Farmacy's menu will support vegetarian and vegan diets, free from dairy, refined sugars, additives and chemicals, according to the group. It has committed to sourcing all food from local, organic UK farms.
Al Fayed said she was planning to expand the Farmacy brand through express 'grab and go' outlets, initially across London.
