Travelodge announces summer recruitment drive

Travelodge has announced it is looking to fill 650 permanent positions across the UK this summer as part of a recruitment drive.

Roles are based in hotels across the country and at the company's head office in Thame, Oxfordshire. It is also recruiting for team members for its forthcoming new hotel openings in London (Belvedere, Finsbury Park and Finchley), Stockport, Sale, Andover and Peterhead.

Hotel roles include hotel manager, receptionist, team member, guest room cleaner and bar café roles. Head office positions are available in HR, sales, health and safety, finance, digital marketing, revenue, public relations and marketing.

Debbie Husband, Travelodge operations director, said: "Joining a hotel company opens the door to training, career progression and even roles in new countries. We are recruiting for key roles across the UK for our hotels. If you have passion, determination and a real desire to look after people then we will help you learn the rest.

"At Travelodge, we have hundreds of colleagues who joined the company, from an entry level position and are now in a management or executive role. The world certainly is your oyster in the hospitality industry."
