Ben Spalding announces residency at St Bart's Brewery
Spalding will bring his Small Plate Sessions to the event, offering 10 dishes under £10 including sticky piggy ribs seasoned with bonfire salt, mango & crème fraÁ®che; smoked mackerel tacos, teriyaki broccoli, soured cream; lamb neck marinated in Douglas fir oil, tom yum mayonnaise, super sour pomegranate, powdered sweetcorn & toasted pumpkin seeds; and praline, crispy pastry, crunchie dust & iced marjoram.
Diners will be able to enjoy the sounds of underground electronic music producers and live DJs throughout the day-to-evening events.
Spalding said: "I live for creating delicious, interesting and memorable experiences that are there for a day and gone the next - this is the ultimate challenge for me. It's the most rewarding feeling to see a room full of strangers bond over inviting and interesting food with good conversation, and now with the introduction of the finest underground electronic music.
"Together this all defines exactly what I wanted to achieve with Small Plate Sessions, and St Bart's Brewery with their passion for quality, live music, great food and first class wine and beer is the perfect collaborating partner."
Spalding trained at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, the Ledbury, Bagatelle, the Fat Duck, Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, Vue de Monde and L'Enclume.
