Marco Pierre White to open Steakhouse Bar & Grill in Jurys Inn Oxford
Marco Pierre White has announced the launch of his 17th Steakhouse Bar & Grill in Jurys Inn in Wolvercote, Oxford due to open next year.
The restaurant will be White's second in Oxford, and follows the launch of Marco's New York Italian in the Mercure Oxford Eastgate hotel which opened in February 2015.
The announcement comes as part of a franchise agreement between White's Black & White Hospitality company and the hotel's owners.
White said: "The Steakhouse Bar & Grill will offer diners a different kind of experience to the New York Italian, serving some of my all-time favourite British dishes including roast rump of lamb a la Dijonnaise and pork belly Marco Polo."
Nick Taplin, CEO of Black and White Hospitality said: "I've always been keen to expand our restaurant offering in Oxford and the Jurys Inn is the perfect location to showcase the impressive Steakhouse Bar & Grill brand, with excellent food and drink at pricing to suit all budgets. We have a great relationship with both the owner and hotel brand which makes it a strong fit."
Chris Broderick, general manager at Jurys Inn and Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill Oxford, said: "We're absolutely thrilled to be launching the latest Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill in Oxford, and the spacious newly refurbished hotel showcases the prestigious restaurant beautifully.
"Oxford diners can now experience the full beauty of Marco's cooking through two of his most popular restaurant ventures, and we encourage guests to pop in and join us when we officially open our doors early next year."
