Training provider CPL Learning has launched a brand-new Cellar to Glass digital learning programme developed with beer sommelier Annabel Smith.
The programme provides a comprehensive guide to implementing best practices in the cellar, behind the bar and ensuring that premises are in pristine condition.
The programme includes practical video demonstrations of cellar and bar-related tasks and is split into seven sections so learners can explore the content in a way most suited to them.
"I'm immensely proud of the Cellar to Glass programme as it is not only an invaluable resource for operators, but it's also the first of our new modular video-led content," said Jamie Campbell, chief operating officer at CPL Learning. "The extensive content within this programme will equip anyone who completes it with the knowledge and practical skills needed to deliver exemplary standards.
"With the challenges operators and publicans are facing in getting their premises back open for business, cellar management, hygiene principles and product quality are going to be more important than ever," continued Campbell.
Smith, founder of Beerbelle, added: "It's been fantastic working alongside the team at CPL Learning to create the Cellar to Glass programme. We have produced a complete and comprehensive range of content that will allow learners of varying abilities and experience to reach the gold standard of cellar and bar practices, something which, of course, I am hugely passionate about.
"I look forward to seeing publicans, team members and ultimately customers across the UK benefiting from this training when pubs and bars are back open and serving their communities."
