Bartlett Mitchell wins £1.2m contract with Local Government Association

Contract caterer Bartlett Mitchell has signed a £1.2m deal to provide catering services to the Local Government Association in London.

It beat two tenders to the deal which was signed in October.

Bartlett Mitchell will provide catering services for several conference rooms and meeting rooms at the Local Government House at Smith's Square in London.

This includes beverages, breakfast, working sandwich lunches, cold and hot fork buffet lunches, drinks receptions and canape food.

It will also cater for the new rebranded conference facility which has capacity to accommodate events up to 120 delegates and is intended to be available to for external hire.

Ian Thomas, CEO, Bartlett Mitchell, said: "We are delighted to retain and extend our partnership with the Local Government Association, following a competitive tender process.

"With its exceptional views over Westminster, the recently refurbished 18 Smith Square is a really special London venue. We are looking forward to providing our fabulous food and exceptional service to delegates and visitors."
