Benugo founder Ben Warner to guest edit Caterer and Hotelkeeper
Catey Award winner Ben Warner, founder of deli-café operator Benugo, is guest editing this week's issue of Caterer and Hotelkeeper.
Warner, who founded Benugo with his brother in 1998, has worked with the editorial team to commission a series of features on industry topics close to his heart.
"I am extremely proud to have been asked to be the guest editor of Caterer and Hotelkeeper, a magazine that I have avidly read over the years," said Warner, who won the 2012 Food Service Caterer Award at the Cateys last year.
"This edition will focus on whether high street brands can succeed within the workplace, but also feature people and establishments I have been lucky enough to have known and worked with over the years including Will Ricker, founder of Ricker Restaurants; Moro in Exmouth Market, London; and Rupert Davidson, owner of Bread & Milk in Brighton."
Janie Manzoori-Stamford, contract catering editor at Caterer and Hotelkeeper, welcomed the opportunity to work with Warner.
"I've really enjoyed the chance to look at the industry from an operator's perspective," she said.
"Ben's experience in and enthusiasm for both high street hospitality and contracted food service has led to some very interesting content."
