Edwards & Blake delivers Domino deal
Independent caterer Edwards & Blake has won a three-year contract to provide Domino Printing Solutions with catering at its headquarters in Bar Hill, Cambridge.
It will cater for 470 head office and factory employees, serving breakfast, mid-morning factory break, and lunch in a refurbished restaurant.
The new style and menu, which was introduced in March, has helped to generate 30%-40% uplift on daily visitors to the staff restaurant, the caterer said.
A "street food" range has been introduced to offer a grab-and-go alternative to sit down meals, which include full English breakfast and a variety of lunch options.
Vicki Sanderson, group human resources director at Domino, said: "We have a vibrant, lively new restaurant which looks modern and clean. We're being served a delicious variety of food ranging from welcoming breakfast items, to mid-morning snacks, lunch and afternoon tea."
Caroline Blake, director of Edwards & Blake, added: "The response has been extremely positive and the increase in numbers speak for themselves. We pride ourselves on offering high standards and providing reasonably-priced but exceptional food that is locally sourced and freshly cooked every day."
In the past 12 months, Edwards & Blake has earned a number of awards, including the Soil Association's Gold Food for Life Catering Mark Award, and the Investors in People accreditation. In July 2014 it was listed as one of Norfolk's Top 100 Companies in Grant Thornton's Norfolk Limited 2014 report.
Primarily serving clients in East Anglia, the company, founded by Shirley Edwards and Caroline Blake, employs more than 600 staff with a turnover of £15m.
