Five top London chefs in fundraising dinner for Keech Hospice Care
Five top London chefs are to cook a four-course fundraising dinner to celebrate the 21st anniversary of Keech Hospice Care next month, with a little help from a team of students.
Andrew Bennett (pictured), executive chef from the Sheraton Park Lane hotel, and his colleague Sarah Hartnett will be joined by Henry Brosi from the Dorchester, Paul Gaylor from the Lanesborough and Kevin Clarke from Luton Hoo at the event on 18 October.
The hospitality & tourism department at Barnfield College in Luton, which will be the venue for the dinner, will also provide a team of students and staff from the faculty to assist the chefs.
Vince O'Toole and Steve Latimer from Spencer House London will also be on hand to create the canapés to accompany the Champagne reception.
Monty Panesar, England spin-bowler and Keech ambassador, said: "This is fine dining for a good cause at a fraction of the price you'd pay in a top London restaurant.
"I was born and bred in Luton, so it's great to see a local charity at the top of the menu for these London chefs and how wonderful to see young students giving up their own time to support their icons."
