Holroyd Howe bolsters operations team with four new appointments

Independent education caterer Holroyd Howe has strengthened its dedicated team with the appointment of a new regional operations director and the promotion of three of its management team.

Graham Olds has been promoted to national development director of the WSH-owned business. He takes up his new position with 25 years of experience under his belt, six of which were spent with Holroyd Howe in his most recent role as operations director.

He is tasked with playing a pivotal part in the future development of the business and ensuring the firm remains client- and pupil-focused.

Angus O'Donnell has been given the role of operations director for the Midlands and the North, bringing with him 20 years of industry experience.

He will be directing the business from Shrewsbury to Newcastle and will be responsible for overseeing Holroyd Howe's new contract gains at St Bede's College in Manchester, Packwood Haugh in Shrewsbury and Queen Mary's School in Thirsk.

In addition, Sally Knief has been promoted to operations director for the Home Counties, following five years as a regional operations manager for the company. Part of her remit will be to lead the team and ensure consistent delivery of first-class food service, utilising the support of the business to ensure continuous innovation within the region.

Jayne Edwards has also been welcomed back to Holroyd Howe, following a stint at sister company BaxterStorey. Her return to the business sees Edwards take up the position of operations manager for Oxfordshire and Berkshire.

Ronan Harte (pictured), managing director of Holroyd Howe, said: "Each member of the team brings with them an invaluable level of experience and expertise and I know they will do a great job of motivating their staff to continue delivering the high-quality food and service Holroyd Howe is renowned for.

"We have enjoyed an exceptional year to date, experiencing significant year-on-year growth and I feel confident that we now have the right team in place to build on this further over the coming months."
