Profit from 2012 with Caterer

This week Caterer launches Profiting from 2012, a major new editorial campaign that will provide a clear route map over the coming 18 months to maximising the business benefits offered by the London games.

Big or small, whether close to Stratford or further afield, hospitality businesses need to start planning now to capitalise on a once-in-a-lifetime event that is expected to generate more than £2b-worth of gains to the industry.

It's not only operators working at, or close to, the games that stand to benefit. Around the country those that are fully prepared will increase sales through the massive boost brought by the influx of tourists. Almost a million visitors are expected in the weeks of the games, while many more will visit in the years to come.

The Profiting from 2012 campaign will offer advice, opinions, inspiration and information, helping you to make the most of the opportunities surrounding the games.

For the next 18 months we will offer crucial business insights to help you prepare, with in-depth advice on every organisational element, alongside case studies and all the information you need to be a winner.

We will monitor progress with our "Business Barometer" and follow the fortunes of a selection of businesses as they prepare for the games.

When you see the Profiting from 2012 logo, you can be sure that there is business-critical advice on offer.
