Searcys to relaunch Champagne bar at St Paul's site
Searcys, the luxury catering and hospitality brand, will relaunch its One New Change Champagne bar in St Paul's, London next month with a ‘fuss-free' fizz and meatballs concept.
The 60-cover site, which also has capacity for 120 standing guests, will close for refurbishment on 24-25 April and again on 1-2 May.
It will have a soft opening on 4 May followed by a full opening of the new look on 9 May.
Situated on the first floor of the One New Change shopping centre on Cheapside, the relaunched site will offer a Pick ‘n' Mix system with a choice of either meatballs and pasta or meatballs and ciabatta. Beef or pork meatballs will be available, with sauce, pasta and topping options, including Gorgonzola, anchovies and smoked almonds.
Lighter bites will include meatball sliders on a brioche bun, crab and fennel salad with Sicilian orange and Castelfranco lettuce, and smoked salmon ciabatta with mozzarella and artichoke.
The food offering will also be available on a street food stall as part of the daily market on the ground floor of the shopping centre.
The drinks menu will be headed up by wine and champagne connoisseur Joel Claustre and cocktail expert Aurelien Durand. It will range from flutes of Champagne to Italian vermouth and frizzante cocktails.
The fizz and meatball concept is expected to be rolled out to Searcys' other London venues.
