Sodexo appoints Glenn Ridsdale as director of financial performance

Sodexo has appointed Glenn Ridsdale as its new director of financial performance, reporting to chief financial officer Rachel Osborne who joined the company in June.

Ridsdale joins the contract caterer with more than 20 years' experience as a chartered accountant in a number of industries including the travel and tourism sector.

In addition to leading and developing external relationships with auditors and key strategic partners, Ridsdale will focus on the continued development of Sodexo Group's three-year plan, which outlines the key objectives supporting the One Company, One Direction strategy.

He will establish best practice management information in financial reporting, communications and analysis, with emphasis on embedding a new balanced scorecard performance measurement system in line with Group's three-year plan.

Ridsdale first began working with Sodexo on a short-term assignment in August. He said: "It didn't take long to realise that Sodexo had a great group of people working very hard to create something special.

"I am really looking forward to playing my part in the continued success of the company and meeting the rest of the Sodexo team across the UK and Ireland."
