VisitBritain launches new Hosted Buyers event with ETOA and UKinbound
VisitBritain has launched a new business networking event to attract overseas tourism, in conjunction with the European Tour Operators Association (ETOA) and UKinbound.
The bodies have joined forces to create The Hosted Buyers Marketplace (HBM), which will be held at Wembley Stadium on 19 March 2012, the day before ETOA and UKinbound's established Britain and Ireland Marketplace event.
The HBM will provide a platform for British tourism suppliers and destinations to meet and do business with 150 specially selected international buyers from 20 countries. During the event, buyers will be taken on familiarisation trips to experience first-hand what the UK has to offer.
Chief executive of VisitBritain Sandie Dawe said: "VisitBritain welcomes the opportunity to work alongside ETOA and UKinbound to deliver what will be a fantastic opportunity for British tourism to showcase a wide range of products to a network of international buyers."
Participating countries include Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UAE and the USA. For more information on or to register e-mail info@etoa.org.
