Bayswater's Caring hotel sold to Arianya Group for around £7m

The 25-bedroom Caring hotel in Bayswater, near Hyde Park, has been sold to the Arianya Group off a guide price of £7m for the freehold of the property.

The hotel was previously owned by Robert and Mary Kalcov, who have retired having run the hotel since 1984.

Family business, the Arianya Group, also owns and operates the Garden Court hotel in Bayswater.

Jayesh Popat of the Arianya Group said: "We are delighted to have acquired the Caring hotel which will sit well within our estate and we are grateful to Andy Frisby and his hotels team at Fleurets. We look forward to enhancing the family spirit that has characterised this property during a long and successful period of ownership."

Andy Frisby from leisure property specialist Fleurets brokered the deal. He added: "Fleurets received instructions to sell the Caring hotel in mid-October.

Interest levels were particularly strong right from the outset with more than 10 separate parties viewing. Due to heavy last minute bidding a sale was agreed and contracts exchanged in mid-December. Our clients can now look forward to enjoying their retirement after many happy years at the Caring hotel and we would like to wish Jayesh and the Arianya Group well as the hotel moves to the next generation of ownership."
