Bull at Burford on the market for £1.25m
The Bull at Burford hotel in Oxfordshire has been brought to market with a price tag of £1.25m as the owner looks to retire.
Jean-Marie and Clare Lauzier bought the business from Greene King in 2009 and set about a major refurbishment, but "after many years in the business" have decided to retire.
With a list of famous visitors including Lord Nelson and Lady Hamilton as well as King Charles II and his mistress Nell Gwynne, the Grade II*-listed, 15th-century coaching inn has 18 bedrooms, including three in the former stables and garage at the rear, as well as staff accommodation.
