Exeter hoteliers acquire their fourth hotel

A couple who already own three hotels in Exeter have bought a fourth property in the city.

Vincent and Elaine Blackshaw have snapped up St Andrews hotel to add to their existing portfolio of the Clock Tower hotel, Number Twelve and the nearby Georgian Lodge.

St Andrews hotel is located just outside the city centre on Alphington Road, one of the main roads into the city.

The three-storey property offers 17 en-suite bedrooms, a dry lounge, a main bar and a 26-seat dining room along with four-bedroom owners' accommodation on the ground floor.

The Exeter office of Christie + Co sold the freehold off a guide price of £1.195m.
