Garry Hollihead becomes executive chef of Grosvenor House Dubai
Three-time Michelin-starred UK chef Garry Hollihead has been appointed executive chef of Grosvenor House Dubai.
Hollihead kick-started his career as an apprentice to chef Anton Edelmann at Grosvenor House London.
He then progressed through the culinary ranks with stints at the Savoy Hotel, London, and as head chef and partner of Sutherland's restaurant in Soho, where he earned his first Michelin star. Hollihead later worked at L'Escargot and Les Saveurs restaurants in London, elevating them to Michelin-starred establishments.
Hollihead's appointment adds to the line-up of celebrity chefs at the hotel. Grosvenor House is home to Michelin-starred chef Gary Rhodes's Rhodes Mezzanine, and the first Indian Michelin starred chef Vineet Bhatia's Indego.
