Jurys puts two more hotels on the market

Jurys Doyle is to put its five-star Berkeley Court hotel in Dublin on the market following the sale of the neighbouring Ballsbridge site.

The 186-bedroom luxury hotel has banqueting facilities for up to 450 people and is located on a two acre plot in the heart of the city.

Jurys' three-star Montrose hotel in Dublin is also being put up for sale.

Jurys said the move to dispose of two more Dublin sites formed part of a realignment of its Irish hotel business and was a direct result of the agreed €260m (£180m) sale of its Ballsbridge site to property developer Sean Dunne, in July.

Since 2002 the group has disposed of five hotels, announced the redevelopment of its Jurys Cork hotel and opened a new Jurys Inn at Parnell Street in Dublin.
