Ten of London's leading five-star hotels have taken the unprecedented step to work together by forming a travel website, 5ive Star London.
Supported by 26 luxury brands including Fortnum & Mason, Paul Smith and Pringle of Scotland, the new website will provide up-to-the minute details about the hotels - Brown's, the Dorchester, 45 Park Lane, the Goring, the Lanesborough, Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, the Milestone, One Aldwych, the Ritz and the Stafford - as well as insider knowledge about London's restaurants, attractions and retailers.
5ive Star London is intended as a one-stop shop for discerning international travellers seeking the best of the capital.
The website will include special packages and seasonal offerings previously only available on each individual hotel's site, alongside the opportunity to compare London's hotels based on rates, locations and facilities and to direct them to the reservation portal specifically related to that hotel.
A spokesperson for 5ive Star London said: "With hundreds of thousands of people coming to Britain in 2012 for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, the London 2012 Olympics and the summer-long London 2012 Festival, this ground-breaking new website will appeal to luxury travellers internationally. It reinforces these hotels' position as innovative, leading luxury establishments."
