Rezidor Hotel Group has launched the first of a new grill and bar concept at the Park Inn in Cardiff City Centre and announced plans to roll out 20 by the end of 2010.
The new restaurant and bar concept, known as RBG, has been developed specifically for the Park Inn brand.
Park Inn currently operates 18 hotels in the UK and has 16 new hotels under development to open during the next two years.
RBG will offer an all-day menu offering signature dishes from the grill, including rib eye steak, free range chicken and tiger prawns; and gourmet burgers including classic, cajun and lamb.
In addition there will be a selection of shakes and smoothies, plus desserts including fresh fruit salad, fruit crumble and ice creams.
The launch of RBG is being overseen by Christer Larsson, Rezidor's bar and restaurant portfolio consultant, who will also be involved in the chain's roll-out.
Further outlets of the new restaurant and bar will open soon at Park Inn Nottingham and Park Inn Watford, as well as in three new-build Park Inn hotels, which are due to open in the UK before the end of the year in Belfast, Peterborough and Leigh, Lancashire.
