SLH on track for record breaking year

The sales and marketing consortium Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) has enjoyed a 13% rise in revenue and a 6% increase in room nights sold during the second quarter of the year, compared to the same period in 2013.

Representing 520 hotels in more than 70 countries, SLH has also announced a 208% rise in mobile bookings for the second quarter and the addition of 27 hotels so far in 2014.

Strong business is being delivered by the Club of SLH, the consortium's loyalty programme which has over 350,000 members globally, particularly in the key markets of the USA, UK, Germany, Canada and Australia.

Tim Davis, managing director of brand and communications, said: "We continue to put our Club members at the heart of our business by delivering more relevant, targeted and personalised marketing. We are seeing some high spends from our top tiered honoured members and have members who have spent over $65,000 (£38,000) with us already in 2014."
