The Connaught appoints Romuald Feger as executive chef
The Connaught hotel in London's Mayfair has appointed Romuald Feger as executive chef.
He steps into the shoes of Raphael Francois, who left the hotel last summer after nearly five years in the role.
Feger joins the Connaught from the St Regis hotel in San Francisco where he has been executive chef for three years. He was previously at the St Regis Bora Bora, Hotel du Palais de la Mediterranée in Nice and Restaurant Le Cirque in New York.
Feger will head up the kitchen operation at the five-star, 123-bedroom hotel including banqueting and the Espelette restaurant, while Helen Darroze will continue to oversee her eponymous two-Michelin-star restaurant at the property.
Feger added: "The Connaught has long held a legendary reputation as a five-star hotel and for its gastronomic excellence, I am excited to be able to help build on this tradition".
