Tillington Hall hotel Stafford now Best Western after £1m refurbishment

Tillington Hall hotel in Stafford is to partner with Best Western hotel group after a £1m refurbishment.

The 91-bedroom, three-star hotel, which was bought by SGL Management in September 2013, has refurbished all its bedrooms and created a new bistro-style restaurant. The existing conference and banqueting facilities have also been updated, with weddings, corporate events and other major occasions in mind.

All work is set to be finished by July this year, and the development has also seen the creation of 10 new staff positions.

Commenting on the new partnership and the redevelopment, general manager Andrew Sanders said: "We hope that the hotel will be the hub of the local community, where people come to celebrate those important times in their lives."

The hotel will now be known as the Best Western Tillington Hall hotel, and has joined the Best Western GB group of over 175 hotels across the country.
