Graham Garrett launches bedrooms at the West House

Graham Garrett, chef-patron of the Michelin-starred West House restaurant in Biddenden, Kent, has expanded the business with the launch of four bedrooms.

Each of the individual rooms have each been designed with a different theme and are named: the Scandi, Art Deco, Serenity and Rock ‘N' Roll (pictured right).

The Scandi, a Scandinavian inspired room, is decorated with simple colour tones and wood features. Art Deco draws inspiration from the classic design features and colours of the period. Serenity reflects the natural surroundings of Kent and features a garden and firepit.

The Rock ‘N' Roll room pays homage to Garrett's previous career as a drummer in 80s rock bands such as the YA YA and Dumb Blondes. The room is dominated by a black four-poster bed and decorated with big-name rock artworks. It also has its own garden with hot tub.

Garrett said: "I am really proud of the new rooms and delighted that we are now able to offer our customers somewhere fantastic to stay after they have eaten at the restaurant. We wanted to make the rooms truly individual and special, and I think we've achieved that. We look forward to welcoming our first guests."

Room rates start at £340 per night for two and include the tasting menu or any available dinner menu. A bespoke continental breakfast hamper is also delivered to guests' door the following morning.
