Krept and Konan to open Crepes & Cones dessert restaurant

Rap duo Krept and Konan are set to launch their own dessert restaurant Crepes & Cones.

The pair have secured a 2,500 sq ft site at 24-26 South End in Croydon, which is due to open on 12 May. The restaurant will serve crêpes, ice-cream and waffles, as well as chicken, burgers, ribs and hot dogs, all of which will be halal.

There will also be vegan options, with drinks including cocktails, mocktails, slushies and milkshakes.

"After working on this for over two years I'm so proud to announce that me and Konan are opening our restaurant @crepesandcones next week," Casyo ‘Krept' Johnson wrote on Instagram.

"Honestly put my blood sweat and tears into this. We even have a private room to hire. It's disabled friendly, child friendly also. So much up and downs making this I even became a builder at one stage… but we are finally here. I said we would do this years ago and made it happen."
