La Fromagerie to open third London site

La Fromagerie is to open its third site on Lambs Conduit Street, Bloomsbury next month.

Located on the corner of Lambs Conduit Street, La Fromagerie will be divided over two floors. The ground level will feature a cheese room, a shop selling seasonal fruit and vegetables, breads, cakes, and own label products and a 26-cover bar with pavement dining.

Downstairs the tasting room, which has a glass covered courtyard, will be available for private hire and tutored tasting events.

La Fromagerie Bloomsbury will offer all-day dining, with brunch available on weekends until 3pm.

During the afternoon and evening, a menu showcasing the produce sold in the shop with cheese and wine pairings alongside charcuterie, a smoked salmon and oyster bar will be on offer, alongside the Fondue Savoyarde.

Director Sarah Bilney said: "We've been looking for a long time for a place that felt right for us. In Lambs Conduit Street, we have found a warm sense of community with a wonderful mix of shops and restaurants, alongside local businesses and residential. We've been made to feel so welcome already by the locals, we can't wait to open."

The design will restore the original features of the Georgian building and feature a marble top bar with brass accents, wooden panelling, and deep dark green velvet banquettes.

La Fromagerie was founded by Patricia Michelson. It launched its first site in Highbury in 1992. Ten years later, it opened a shop and café on Moxon Street, Marylebone.

The wholesale side of the business supplies top chefs and restaurants in the UK, including Marcus Wareing, River Café, Noble Rot and the Ledbury.
