Le Pain Quotidien launches London expansion

Belgian café-cum-pâtisserie chain Le Pain Quotidien is to open two new outlets in London next year.

The brand opened its first UK outlet in Marylebone in January. Its second site is due to open in Young Street, just off Kensington High Street, in February and its third outlet will open at the Royal Festival Hall in April.

Franchise holder Philip Le Roux, who is managing director of the brand in the UK and Ireland, said the company aimed to open up to 10 sites in central London over the next two to three years and planned to move outside the capital by 2008.
