Putney Bridge is sold for £3m

Michelin-starred restaurant Putney Bridge has exchanged contracts in a deal worth more than £3m. The south-west London eaterie is now in the final stages of negotiations with eight-strong restaurant group Thai Square. The deal is expected to be completed by the middle of April.
The restaurant's chef-director, Anthony Demetre, confirmed that contracts had been exchanged but stressed that no completion date had been set. "The deal is not yet unconditional," he added.
Demetre and restaurant manager William Smith will continue to work with Putney Bridge owner Asda Property Holdings and are hoping to relocate in central London.
Knight Frank acted for Asda Property Holdings and has been retained to look for a new property. Alan Josephs & Partners represented Thai Square.
