Tanner & Co restaurant and bar to open in Bermondsey Street
Tanner & Co, a new restaurant and bar, is set to launch in London's Bermondsey Street on 23 May.
The 100-cover restaurant will offer an all-day dining menu in its retro gym-inspired setting with dishes that represent a contemporary take on comfort food. Dishes will include crispy spam fritter with piccalilli, ale-braised oxtail and mushroom spring rolls, onion mayonnaise, poached hake, smoked leeks, curry sauce and liver, bubble and squeak croquettes, onion gravy.
A carvery trolley, range of ‘Packed Lunch' sandwiches and ‘Eat Your Greens' salads will also be on offer, as well as a selection of in-house cured and smoked charcuterie and brined pull-ring cans of delicacies such as pork rillettes. Puddings will include iced Neapolitan parfait, praline wafer and blood orange jelly, vanilla ice cream.
Tanner & Co is the first site to open under the Camm and Hooper brand and is financed by the Imbiba Partnership whose current investments include Darwin and Wallace and until recently the London based bar group Drake & Morgan.
A separate event space for up to 250 is set to open at the end of May.
