2005 Dark Harvest vintage from Bookers Vineyard

The 2005 Dark Harvest vintage was a bronze medal winner in the 2008 South East Vineyards Association Competition and was Highly Commended in the 2008 English and Welsh Wine of the Year Competition.
Made from a blend of Dornfelder and Rondo grapes, Dark Harvest (abv 11%) from West Sussex is a medium-bodied, smooth, dry, red wine, with lots of red fruit flavours and hints of tannin.
It has a red fruit aroma with complementary oak notes. Bookers Vineyard 2006 Dark Harvest is due to be released in early 2009.
