Bodum Kenya tea press from John Artis

Bodum Kenya tea press from John Artis

The Bodum Kenya tea press - the latest addition to the John Artis catalogue - is a glass teapot with a tea press filter, which is a stylish way of pouring speciality teas without needing to remove the leaves.

Caterers simply add loose leaves to the infuser, add hot water and leave the drink to brew for 3-4 minutes. Depressing the plunger separates the leaves from the liquor and arrests the brewing process to avoid stewing.

The jug is made from hard-wearing heat-resistant borosilicate glass, and a black keyhole-design frame protects it from damage. All parts are dishwasher-safe.

The pot comes in two sizes - 50cl and one litre - with respective list prices of £12.50 and £15.40.
