Brilliant Laundry Group asks the Laundry Technology Centre for internal audit
The Brilliant Laundry Group has commissioned independent laundry consultancy the Laundry Technology Centre (LTC) to conduct a series of internal audits throughout its network of laundries across the UK.
LTC has been commissioned to review Brilliant's practices with a view to ensuring that the group's production operates consistently and to the highest standards.
The evaluation will include an assessment of factors such as whiteness of linen, cleanliness, product softness and starch level. The results will then help the network assess best practice, drive consistency throughout the group and set improvement targets before going through the process again.
Steve Anderton, managing director of LTC, said: "The Brilliant Laundry Group is the only laundry group in the UK to invite LTC to audit and conduct a systematic review of their operations, and that in itself is testament to their drive for higher standards of customer service and satisfaction."
Steve Clarke, managing director of Brilliant, said: "Independent validation is ultimately good for both us and our customers, as it demonstrates an impartial recognition of the hard work our staff carries out to ensure our customers receive the highest standards."
Brilliant's principal shareholders nationwide - CLEAN, Fresh Linen, County Linen and co-founders Paragon - are among the operators going through the audit. Together, the laundry operators provide customers with a nationally run but locally provided service, so multi-site organisations within the hospitality and manufacturing sectors will particularly see the benefits of the audit, as the standards are set to be consistent across the Brilliant Group.
