Cheddar blocks from Lactalis McLelland
A new 5kg block version of the McLelland Mild and Mature Cheddars has been launched into the food service sector by Lactalis McLelland Out of Home.
The cheeses, which are made at the Caledonian Creamery in south-west Scotland and matured over three and 12 months respectively, have a rounded flavour and firm texture that make them equally suitable for sandwiches, cooking or the cheeseboard.
Lactalis McLelland stocks a wide range of dairy products including catering creams, the Seriously Cheddar line, French cheeses (for example, Societe Roquefort, Salakis cheeses and the President range of Brie, Camembert, Emmental, goats' cheeses and butters), and Italian specialities such as Galbani Dolcelatte and Santa Lucia Mozzarella.
