Dairy Smart Starters from Lamb Weston

Hotels, pubs, canteens and cafés can now offer their vegetarian customers a tasty range of starters, snacks and side dishes from Lamb Weston called Smart Starters.

The dairy-based starters come in four flavours - Mediterranean with tomato and olive; Oriental with ginger and spring onion; African Bototi with curry, raisins and apple; and the classic Original flavour, which tastes like chicken.

Smart Starters contain no artificial colourings, preservatives, GMOs or MSG and can be used as sharing platters, side dishes, accompaniments to meals such as salads, or as snacks served with dips.

They will quickly heat up in an oven, fryer or impinger and are well suited to buffets as they remain crisp and tasty on the outside but tender inside for longer periods.

Smart Starters are sold in frozen, 1kg packs that contain at least 45 pieces.
