Light, fluffy handmade traditional Indian breads are the latest line from Brand Innovations' DelhiBites brand. The dough is made using butter from buffalo milk and hand-rolled and stretched into the traditional tear-drop shape before being baked by hand in wood-fired Tandoor ovens.
There are two varieties - Garlic & Coriander Naans, which are hand-sprinkled with locally sourced, freshly chopped garlic and coriander before baking - and Tandoori Indian Plain Naans.
The 130g Naans, which contain no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives, are sold frozen in packs of 24. They need to be lightly sprinkled with water before cooking for two to three minutes in an oven pre-heated to 200°C.
