Douwe Egberts wins hotel contracts with Liquid Roast
Douwe Egberts Professional will supply its Liquid Roast coffee system to three major UK hotel groups: Redefine/BDL, Shearings and Millenium & Copthorne.
The Liquid Roast System delivers high volumes of coffee, which saves times and avoids the need for extensive staff training. Its software includes an energy efficient ‘eco mode' to enable operators to identity periods of inactivity, resulting in energy savings of up to 30%.

The Liquid Roast system uses liquid coffee that has been roasted, ground and brewed then concentrated by Douwe Egbert's Master Blenders to produce a consistent cup of coffee time after time.
"We believe coffee is an important quality cue for hotel guests. While front of house is important, and largely satisfied by traditional espresso machines, breakfast and conference functions demand greater capacity and flexibility," added Bell.
